One Piece of Pet Advice: Patience and consistency are key to training any animal.
Afraid of any animals? I am a little nervous about handling snakes.
What’s the furthest away from Iowa you’ve ever been? Harvest Caye, Belize.
What do you do for the DHVH team? I am a Registered Veterinary Technician, which means I do a wide range of things daily, from answering the phone to cleaning your pets’ teeth.
Any pet challenges at home? No real challenges, just making sure all the animals are happy and healthy. Craziest or most unusual thing you’ve seen on the job? Helping Dr. Emily do a leg amputation on a wild opossum.
