My name is Kalynn, and I'm a veterinary technician at Den Herder Veterinary Hospital. I’ve been part of the team since May 2021 and truly enjoy helping care for animals every day. I live on a small acreage outside of Oelwein with my husband, daughter, and a full and happy animal family.
We have two dogs—Nova, a Great Pyrenees, and Dallas, an Australian Shepherd—along with eight cats: Charles, Sophia, Lilly, Shadow, Chance, Sassy, Monster, and Baley. I also have four horses: Bo, Cass, Legacy, and Fancy, as well as chickens and turkeys that keep things lively around the farm.
When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me outside—horseback riding, camping, or spending quality time with my family and our animals.
