Desperate Housecats Adoption Event

Please join Waverly Pet Rescue the weekend of May 13-15, 2016 at PetSmart in Waterloo. Over 50 cats (plus bunnies and dogs) will be available for adoption during their Desperate Housecats Adoption Event!
Hours are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Turn these “Desperate Housecats” into “Forever Fine Felines”! We have worked with and cared for many of these cats and can vouch for their wonderfulness.

American Pattern and CNC Works in Cedar Falls will donate $25 towards the adoption fee for the first 20 adoptions. PetSmart Charities has provided cages, tables, and some advertising to make this event as successful as possible. They will award WPR an additional $500 if they meet their goal of adopting 20 cats during this event.

WPR wants everyone to meet and spend time with any animal considered for adoption. Everyone should make sure this commitment is a good fit for their family.
What speeds the process up is filling out an adoption application online. This allows the volunteers at WPR time to carefully consider each applicant. Fill out an adoption application early and then you can adopt easily when ready!
Hard Work
Animal rescue and adoption is hard work. Waverly Pet Rescue is unique in several ways. They are an all-volunteer group. Everyone involved donates their time.
They are also a no-kill rescue group which means when they agree to take in a pet, they will foster until finding a forever home.
There is no facility or building. Every animal is fostered in homes throughout the Cedar Valley. They are always looking for more quality foster families.
They are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit. Any donation you might make is tax deductible. Most of all, 100{cc651acb8fd21d18461bab90e3951e117ad976e0f5f2bec6fa2ec763fee94208} of your dollars go straight to the care and medical bills for animals in the rescue.
