I grew up on a farm outside of Fort Atkinson in Northeast Iowa, with my parents and two older brothers. My love for animals, along with the kindness and care provided to my own pets throughout my life, inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I graduated from Kirkwood’s Veterinary Technician program in May of 2025 and passed my board exams shortly after to become a registered veterinary technician. I joined Den Herder’s team in September of 2025, and I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful and caring team. As a registered technician, I enjoy the variety the job offers and the opportunity to learn something new every day, while supporting pets and their families. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and hanging out with my friends and family.
