I grew up in the Cedar Valley and graduated from Hudson High School. I started on kennel staff at Den Herder Veterinary Hospital in 2006. In 2012, I became one of the Registered Veterinary Technicians. My husband Daniel and I live in Waterloo, with our daughter Adeline, and dogs, Simon and Jax.

In 2018, my husband and I said goodbye to my best friend, Chloe, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle mix. There won’t ever be another dog like her. Chloe was my therapy dog, always brought me comfort. Seeing that bond between people and their animals is what makes my job great.
