What to Expect

If you would like an estimate of the cost for your pet’s care, please feel free to ask. We aren’t bothered or embarrassed by it. Neither should you. Make an informed decision about your pet’s care—please be sure to ask questions. That’s one reason why we are here.

We do ask for payment at time of service. In addition to cash or check, we accept Visa®, MasterCard® and Discover®. We also accept CareCreditSM, which is a no- or low-interest payment plan for those who qualify. Many of our clients carry pet insurance through a variety of carriers, and we are happy to help you arrange that.

We offer curbside appointments. Simply specify when you call to make your appointment. When you arrive, you will call the office 319-232-5292. Let them know you’re here. Staff will check you in over the phone and come out to get your pet. The doctor will call during the exam. Payment will be collected over the phone and your pet will be delivered back to you.

We want to help you understand your pet’s health. More than that, we want you to know how to make your years together be as happy and healthy as possible.

We also know that most questions happen after the exam. That’s why we follow up with you. And you are welcome to call us or email us.
